El Salvador es asediado por las pandillas que poseen más de 600 células en todo el país, y a las cuales el Gobierno atribuye la mayoría de los crímenes.
El país centroamericano es considerado uno de los más violentos del mundo.
En los primeros cuatro meses del año 2017, fueron asesinadas un total de 1,133 personas. En estos 4 meses El Salvador superó la tasa de asesinatos registradas por otros países centroamericanos y México en los doce meses de 2016.
La violencia impregna todas las facetas del arte, y así debería ser, porque uno de los propósitos del arte es ayudar a los humanos a confrontar y comprender todos los aspectos de su naturaleza
Con este trabajo se pretende re contextualizar situaciones diarias e imágenes que se repiten en todos los lugares del “Pulgarcito de América” en un Madrid en la que sus ciudadanos gozan la libertad de pasear por la calle sin temor alguno de regresar o no a sus hogares.

In these 4 months El Salvador exceeded the murder rate registered by other Central American countries and Mexico in the twelve months of 2016.
Violence permeates all facets of art, and that's the way it should be, because one of the purposes of art is to help humans confront and understand all aspects of their nature.
This work aims to re contextualize daily situations and images that are repeated in all places of the "little guy of America" re-situated in Madrid in which its citizens enjoy the freedom to walk on the street without fear of returning or not to their homes.
